Job Description:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials
Drive lighter and special-purpose trucks as required
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Monitor and inspect the vehicle’s condition, including tires, brakes, lights, cold storage units, and other essential equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Record detailed information on cargo, hours of service, mileage, and fuel usage
Receive and transmit dispatch information to and from central operations
Languages: English
Credentials & Licences: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
