Job Description:
Gonni Holdings is a freight transportation based in Edmonton, Alberta. We need four (4) Truck Drivers. You should be prepared to stay away from home at various locations in a camp or employer provided accommodation for several days a week or few weeks. Employer will cover cost of accommodation.
Wage:
$36.00 per hour for 30 to 60 hours per week
In accordance will all Provincial and Federal Standards, Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day or 60 hours we week when the truck crosses interprovincial boundaries.

Accident and incident reports; Trip reports; Maintenance and repair reports; Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Driven logbook; Bill of Lading
Communication Systems Experience:
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Weight Handling:
Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Job Duties:
Load and unload goods; Perform preventive maintenance; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Pay and receive payment for good; Load and unload goods; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials; Tarping and ensuring safety of cargo; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Convey customers’ complaints or concerns to dispatch
Security and Safety:
Criminal record check; Drug test; Driver’s validity licence check; Driving record check (abstract)

Valid driver's license; Drive a manual transmission vehicle
