Truck & Coach Technician NOC 72410 Job

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Coach and instruct apprentices

• Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience.
• Must have experience in the following areas of specialization including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, diagnostics, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems, automatic transmission, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul, truck-trailer repair, and front-end components.
• Must be able to provide a driving record check (abstract), own transportation, and a valid driver’s licence.
• Must have own tools and equipment including tools and steel-toed safety boots.
• Must demonstrate personal suitability including dependability, reliability, ability to work as a team player, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak in English.
• Must be willing to work in a garage setting and work onsite.
