Heartland Transport Ltd. is looking for full-time Truck Trailer Mechanic.
Title: Truck and Trailer Mechanic
Location:# 220, 32525 Simon Ave Abbotsford BC Canada V2T6T6
Salary: $37.00 per hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/ Permanent;
Positions Available: 2
Start Date: As soon as possible;
Job Requirement
Experience- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience is required;
Education; Completion of Secondary school is required
Job Duties:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and
drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
• Testing and inspecting vehicle to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and government standards.
• Documenting serial number and recording repair story on work order noting problems or unusual situations encountered during repairs.
• Using hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults
• Performing scheduled maintenance service
