Trochu Gas and Snacks is hiring a F/T Retail Store Supervisor. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Retail Store Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.50-22.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 114 1 Avenue North, Trochu, AB T0M 2C0

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of retail staff to ensure smooth and efficient store operations
• Assign staff to shifts and duties and establish work schedules based on operational needs
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to staff to maintain service standards and workplace efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels, organize stock, and place orders to ensure adequate supply of merchandise
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address operational issues such as supply shortages
• Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily transactions
• Prepare basic reports related to sales, inventory, and staff performance as required
• Support payroll related administration by tracking staff hours and attendance
• Conduct performance feedback and support staff development in day to day operations

Job requirements:
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail sales or cashier experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
