Required Treasury Analyst (NOC 11101)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Prepare periodic reports on liquidity, cash flow, foreign exchange positions, and other treasury metrics for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and company treasury policies.
• Coordinate with auditors by providing required documentation and explanations during internal and external audit reviews.
• Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance
• Participate in special treasury-related projects such as implementing new banking platforms, treasury software, or process automation initiatives
• Collect financial and investment information about companies, stocks, bonds and other investments
• Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets
• Prepare a regular risk profile for debt portfolios
• Monitor daily cash balances and short-term investment activity to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Forecast cash inflows and outflows based on business activity, financial trends, and anticipated obligations.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to support operational financing, optimize transaction costs, and facilitate effective fund management.
• Oversee processing of electronic payments, wire transfers, and ACH transactions to ensure timely settlement and accuracy.
• Evaluate financial risk, reconcile cash and bank statements regularly, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Perform administrative tasks, maintain comprehensive records of treasury activities including transaction documentation, bank correspondence, and compliance files.

• Undergraduate degree in finance, banking or related field.
• Moderate experience and knowledge in Treasury and Finance related role;
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office Suite;
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
• Attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills is essential; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
