Job Description:
JOB DUTY DESCRIPTION
Supervising Staff: Managing and providing guidance to travel clerks, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Reservations and Bookings: Overseeing the booking of flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
Budgeting and Pricing: Setting and monitoring budgets for travel arrangements, including negotiating rates with airlines, hotels, and other service providers.
Compliance and Regulations: Staying informed about travel regulations, safety, and security measures, and ensuring that the agency complies with relevant laws and industry standards.
Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving issues related to travel arrangements, cancellations, or changes, and providing alternative solutions when necessary.
Team Coordination: Collaborating with other travel agency staff, such as travel agents, to ensure a seamless travel booking process for clients.
Customer Feedback: Gathering and analyzing feedback from clients to improve the quality of services provided.
May perform the same duties as travel clerks supervised, which includes the following:
a.Client Services: Interacting with clients to assist with travel arrangements, provide information on travel destinations, and handle client complaints or concerns.
b.Itinerary Planning: Collaborating with clients to plan and create travel itineraries that meet their preferences and requirements.
c.Documentation: Ensuring that all necessary travel documentation, such as visas and passports, is in order and providing guidance to clients on these requirements.
d.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of transactions, reservations, and client information.
