Travel Advisor Job

We are seeking 1099 Independent Contractors to work in the travel space with our host company. We provide all the training.

Duties:
- Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
- Provide personalized recommendations and advice to clients based on their preferences and budget
- Research and gather information on travel destinations, including local attractions, events, and customs
- Handle all aspects of the booking process, including making reservations, issuing tickets, and processing payments
- Ensure that all travel documents and itineraries are accurate and delivered to clients in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in travel regulations to provide the most current information to clients
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during the travel process, including flight delays or cancellations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of travel planning and booking processes
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell travel products and services
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficient in using computer reservation systems (CRS) and online booking platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Skills:
- Travel planning: Ability to research destinations, create itineraries, and make recommendations based on client preferences
- Sales: Ability to effectively sell travel products and services to clients
- Hospitality: Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Hotel: Knowledge of different hotel chains, room types, amenities, and booking procedures
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries or concerns
