Job Duties:
Maintain and control transportation operations;
Comply with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations;
Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of cargo and goods;
Monitor and report on the transportation budget;
Prepare and participate in the quarterly review, annual audit and performance evaluation of department employees, and report to senior management;
Implement schedule and policy changes;
Arrange activities are related to dispatching, routing, and tracking marine transportation;
Formulate and review the plan for transportation and storage of goods to ensure compliance with required procedures;
Coordinate service rates with related personnel, such as carriers, warehouse operators and insurance company representatives;
Participate in recruitment process, training, reviewing and overseeing the shipping clerks and transport personnel.

Job Requirements:
At least 3 year of freight traffic related experience is required;
Completion of secondary school is required, college diploma or above is an asset;
Excellent communication skills in English;
Budget and resource management;
Strong leadership skills;
Problem-solving skills.
