Wages: $54.19-$55.19 per hour for 30-40 hours per week

Job duties:
• Directed and evaluated daily fleet operations and freight logistics, ensuring efficient routing, load planning, and on-time delivery schedules across all assigned transit corridors.
• Established and enforced internal safety protocols and operational policies, ensuring the company’s strict compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations, dangerous goods handling (if applicable), and driver hours-of-service rules.
• Supervised the dispatch department and coordinated comprehensive preventive maintenance and servicing schedules for the commercial trucking fleet to minimize mechanical downtime and ensure road safety.
• Managed the transportation operating budget, controlling variable expenses such as fuel costs and maintenance fees, while evaluating and approving the acquisition of new fleet equipment and parts.
• Analyzed fleet performance metrics (such as fuel efficiency, idle times, and delivery rates) to prepare comprehensive operational reports for executive review, utilizing the data to implement strategic changes to dispatch schedules.
• Led the recruitment, on boarding, and performance management of commercial drivers, dispatchers, and support staff, overseeing their ongoing safety training and compliance certifications.
Education: Completion of a Bachelors Degree.
Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience working as a supervisor or as a manager in the similar field is required.
