Title: Transportation Manager
Location:#1340 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford B.C V2T 5Y3 Canada
Salary: $58.00 per Hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent
Positions Available: 1
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Requirement
• Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of managerial experience
Job Duties
• Plan, Organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a transportation company.
• Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Being the first point of contact for all drivers.
• Oversee dispatch of truck trailers
• Monitor companies or departments performance, prepare reports and plan for changes to schedules and policies.
• Set operations policies and standards, including safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods and ensure compliance with transport regulations
