Get hired as an NCDOT engineer-in-training and choose 6 3-month rotations exploring construction engineering, R&D, materials, marine engineering, rail, aviation, highway, geotechnical engineering, environmental planning, bike/pedestrian pathway engineering, drones, integrated mobility, photogrammetry, hydrology, planning, and more! All while working on award-winning NCDOT teams.

What You Bring
⦁ An interest in smart transportation engineering in areas such as environmental planning, design, construction, big data analytics, drones, R&D, and/or maintenance.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
⦁ Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Surveying Engineering and Management, Electrical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Biological & Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and other 4-year related engineering degrees, and
⦁ Less than 2 years of post-graduation engineering experience; or
⦁ An equivalent combination of education and experience.
