Position: Transport truck driver
Duration/Type: Full Time
Reporting Location: 246 Waydom Dr, Ayr, ON, N0B 1E0
Salary: $37.50 per hour–The gross salary paid will be subject to all applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30-40 Hours a week. Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
• Operating an AZ Vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to transport goods and materials
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment and loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly upon loading.
• Provide accurate and timely product deliveries to scheduled customers
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account
• Complete all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
• Perform all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations
• Other duties as requested by the dispatch office.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable AZ truck driving experience is required.
• Must possess a valid AZ Driver’s License in good standing.
• Must maintain a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract with no record of traffic violations.
• Must hold a valid U.S. visa to operate cross-border routes for freight deliveries, either independently or as part of a two-driver team.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Must possess a valid AZ Driver’s License in good standing.
