Training and Development Specialist Job

A Training and Development Specialist is needed in Opelika, Alabama.

• Develop and coordinate employee training program in business operation for manufacturing hard plastic automotive parts made from advanced composite materials.
• Evaluate the company’s existing training programs and external educational resources to design new training initiatives that enhance employee performance and job-related skills.
• Analyze business operations and workplace procedures to identify training needs and develop clear manuals, guides, and policies that promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Review and interpret safety regulations, prohibited practices, and state and federal compliance requirements to ensure accurate and accessible training content for employees.
• Create and deliver orientation and training sessions for new hires and current employees, using effective communication and presentation techniques to ensure comprehension and retention.
• Assess employee performance, collect feedback, and use evaluation results to refine and improve training effectiveness across the organization.
• Prepare, write, and edit training manuals, guidelines, and course materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional quality.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, English, Education or related field of study.
