Job Description:
TNT Tools Inc. is looking for full time Toolroom machinist for 150 Jardin Drive, Unit 4, Concord, Ontario, L4K 3P9. There is 1 position available.
Job duties and responsibilities.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and technical specifications parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
• Compute precise dimensions, tolerances and tool paths; measure and lay out work pieces
• Set up, operate and maintain advanced CNC toolroom equipment to manufacture custom cutting tools and precision components. Perform high-precision machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, drilling, boring, grinding, and tool reconditioning
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Numroto and ToolStudio software for complex, non-repetitive tooling applications. Experience with this software is mandatory.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Experience with AutoCAD for tooling layouts and design verification.
• May set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.
Hours of work are 32-38 hours per week (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $36.00/hour. Successful candidate must speak English. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum 2 years of hands-on toolroom machining experience.
