Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in injection mold tooling, including specification, procurement, and qualification.
Solid understanding of plastic and elastomeric materials, including PVC
Proficient in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Six Sigma methodologies.
Hands-on experience managing tooling projects at supplier sites, including fabrication and qualification.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and mold flow analysis.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-volume, cost-effective, and high-quality tooling solutions.
Strong experience writing engineering proposals and documentation for tooling initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or completion of a certified Mold Making Apprenticeship.
Experience coordinating with overseas tooling vendors, particularly in Asia.
