Position Info:

• Position: Mechanical Engineer
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.06~$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 8560 Baxter Place, Burnaby, BC V5A 4T2

Job Duties:

• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems
• Analyze dynamics of mechanical systems and structures
• Oversee and inspect the installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required
