Title Paralegal Job

Vincent J. Gallo Law Office, a busy and well-established Staten Island title agency, is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Title Paralegal to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in title clearance and a deep understanding of title abstracts and survey analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and assist title clerks to ensure timely and accurate file processing
• Review and clear title issues, including judgment and lien resolution
• Read and interpret title abstracts and surveys thoroughly
• Prepare all necessary title closing documents and coordinate closings
• Communicate with attorneys, lenders, and clients throughout the process
• Prepare and submit remittance reports accurately and on schedule
• Ensure compliance with title insurance underwriting standards and guidelines

Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of title abstracts is required
• Strong background in title clearance and closing procedures
• Ability to read and analyze surveys and legal descriptions
• Experience preparing title policies and closing packages
• Proficiency with TrackerPro is required
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and depth of knowledge in the title industry.
