Position Info:
• Position: Infants’ Daycare Worker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.50-$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: F120 805 Boyd St, New Westminster, BC, V3M 5G7

Job Duties:
• Provide daily care for infants and toddlers, including meals, diaper changes, and bathing
• Develop age-appropriate programs that support physical, mental, and social growth
• Oversee the cleanliness and safety of all childcare equipment and play areas
• Organize group activities like reading, music, and local outings
• Foster creativity by giving children opportunities for art, drama, and active play
• Assist children in learning basic life skills like eating, dressing, and hygiene
• Identify any developmental or behavioral concerns and communicate them to families
• Ensure the childcare environment remains a safe and healthy space for everyone

Job requirements:
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
• Certificate: ECE Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Infant/Toddler Certificate (ECE Level 3)
• Language: English
