Tilesetter Job

Boys Tile and Flooring Ltd. is looking for one Tilesetter for their business located at 1181 Natures Gate, Victoria, British Columbia, V9B 0B4. This is a full time position for 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Tilesetter, you will be performing the following job duties:

-Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for precise tile installation.
-Install underbeds and support systems to ensure durable, long-lasting flooring solutions.
-Mix and apply adhesives such as mortar and mastic.
-Set, align, and level tiles to achieve clean finishes.
-Cut and fit tiles accurately around edges, fixtures, and openings using specialized tools.
-Apply grout, clean joints, and complete finishing work with attention to detail.
-Install decorative tiles, mosaics, and custom designs to meet client specifications.
-Cut, polish, and install marble, granite, and other materials.
-Repair and replace damaged tiles to maintain quality and consistency.
-Assist with material estimates and orders.

Job Requirement:

-Completion of secondary school is usually required.
-3 to 4 years of work experience required.
-English as a language skill is required.

What we offer:

-$37.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
-Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent job position
