Job Duties:
•Determine the location and size of the area that need to be covered by tiles
•Prepare the area for tile setting, include building underbeds, installing wires, etc.
•Prepare and apply the required adhesives to the area with hand trowel
•Adhere the tiles in the proper positions and make sure the tiles are affixed to the base
•Make sure all the tiles are aligned and straightened with the tools such as levels,
straightedges and squares
•Using the offered cutting tools to cut and adjust the tile when needed
•Seal the gap between tiles with grout and remove the extra after packed in.
•Prepare and set tile strips, mosaic tile, marble and granite as required by client
•Determine the damaged tile, remove it and replace with a new tile.
•Mixing, laying and polishing terra surfaces
•Before the installation of marble or granite, prepare the tile by cutting and polishing to
achieve the proper size and smoothness.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of a secondary school
• Experience as an asset
