POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking experienced Tilesetters to perform tile installation and related finishing work on construction and renovation projects. The Tilesetter will be responsible for preparing work surfaces, measuring and cutting tiles, and installing various tile materials on floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with project specifications. The role involves working with materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and natural stone to achieve durable and visually appealing finishes. The successful candidate will ensure tiles are properly positioned, evenly spaced, and securely installed while completing grouting and final finishing work for residential and commercial construction projects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Examine and measure work areas to determine tile layout and placement.
• Get surfaces ready for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and preparing the base as needed.
• Prepare and use setting materials such as mortar, mastic, cement, or adhesive products.
• Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with project requirements.
• Trim and shape tiles to fit edges, corners, openings, and fixtures with appropriate tools.
• Check spacing and positioning to ensure a straight, even, and professional finish.
• Fill joints with grout, remove excess material, and complete finishing touches.
• Install or replace tile, stone, marble, or granite surfaces, including repair work when required.
• Help determine material amounts needed for tile installation projects.

• Experience: 1 year of work experience as Tilesetter
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Language: Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
