Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
• Assisting in surface preparation, including cleaning, levelling, and measuring.
• Supporting tile installation by mixing and applying mortar, grout, and adhesives.
• Help in cutting tiles to fit obstacles, corners or edges using the tile cutters or saws.
• Transport materials and tools from trucks to the construction site.
• Removing existing tiles and preparing work areas
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of tools at the work site.
• Practice company policies to promote safety and compliance.
• Determine materials needed for the daily shift and load vehicles with equipment and supplies.
• Spray materials such as water, sand and steam through hoses to clean, coat and seal surfaces.
• Use rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other machinery to remove scraps and other debris from construction sites.
• Assist in using hand tools such as trowels, spacers, and tile cutters.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials.
