Job Description:
Piccioni Bros. Mushroom Farm Ltd. is looking for Three (3) Farm Maintenance Workers to perform the following duties:
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Follow food safety and security procedures
• Set, monitor and repair water lines, air flow and temperature and watering trees
• Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including clean-up
• Check agricultural equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Work Setting:
• Rural area
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $18.32 per hour; 40-60 hours/ week
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately
• Benefits: Extended health care coverage
Skills Requirements:
• Education: No education requirement; training in farming, such as farm equipment mechanics, agricultural welding, tree pruning and pesticide application an asset
• Experience: relevant experience an asset
