Position Info:
• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $21.20-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 1964 Fairfield Rd., Victoria, BC V8S 1H4

Job Duties:
• Prepare meals and specials according to set recipes and plating standards
• Modify dishes to safely accommodate guest allergies and dietary needs
• Manage inventory and keep work areas clean and organized
• Prep stations by checking ingredients and equipment before every shift
• Control portions to maintain consistency and minimize food waste
• Instruct kitchen helpers on cooking techniques and food safety
• Lead kitchen helpers to keep the kitchen moving during busy shifts

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
