Axiomatic Technologies Corporation has immediate opening for experienced Test Technician (TEER 2: 22310) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario
As a Test Technician (TEER 2: 22310), you will perform all of the following duties:
• Assist in the design, development and testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and systems
• Set up, run, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Gather and organise operational or experimental data and help with the creation of reports, timetables, budgets, estimations, and specifications.
• Perform a restricted range of technical tasks to support physics and electrical and electronic engineering research.
• Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and record and analyze results
• Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
• Help inspect, test, adjust, and evaluate incoming electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components and assemblies to confirm they comply with product standards.
• Adjust electrical or electronic devices and equipment in accordance with written instructions and technical manuals.
Qualification:
• Completion of a college or other program related to Electrical and electronics engineering technicians is usually required. OR
• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Test Technician, including inspection, testing, adjustment, and evaluation of electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronic components and assemblies, are required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 36.10/hr.
