Test Engineer Job

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and provide QA status and risk updates.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality expectations.
• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, schedules, and release readiness activities aligned with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Design, document, and execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance test cases for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
• Manage test cases, execution, and traceability using qTest and JIRA, including maintenance of the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects; participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and defect resolution cycles.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, TestNG/PyTest, and REST Assured or similar tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Maintain automation code using Git / Bitbucket, following coding standards, branching strategies, and peer review processes.
• Perform API testing to validate RESTful services for functionality, data integrity, error handling, security, and performance.
• Develop and execute API automation using Postman, including collections, environments, variables, and pre request and test scripts.
• Automate API test scenarios in Postman using JavaScript assertions and integrate Postman collections with CI/CD pipelines using Newman.
• Perform end to end integration testing across APIs, backend services, and downstream systems.
• Execute backend, database, and API testing, including SQL based data validation and integration testing.
• Perform performance, load, stress, and endurance testing using NeoLoad or similar tools and analyze system performance metrics.
• Conduct security testing aligned with OWASP principles, validating authentication, authorization, data protection, and application security controls.
• Test AI/ML based applications, validating data pipelines, model inputs and outputs, accuracy, consistency, and system behavior across environments.
• Perform end to end testing of Asset Management applications, validating asset lifecycle, inventory tracking, reporting, and system integrations.
• Conduct RFID testing, validating tag read accuracy, hardware and software integration, data capture, reliability, and edge to cloud communication.
• Perform testing of applications deployed on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, validating scalability, availability, reliability, and cloud configurations.
• Support testing of cloud native architectures, including microservices, APIs, and containerized applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to validate cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configurations across development, QA, UAT, and production.
• Manage and maintain the QA testing lab, including test environments, devices, RFID hardware, simulators, and testing tools.
• Prepare and present test execution reports, quality metrics, and dashboards to management and stakeholders.
• Support UAT and production issue analysis in collaboration with development, DevOps, and support teams.
• Promote QA best practices, continuous improvement, and mentor junior QA engineers.
