Responsibilities
Tasks
Install, program, verify, inspect, and maintain commercial and residential networking systems, alarm systems, access control systems, intercoms, and other communication systems.
Inspect and test telecommunication transmission characteristics and accurately locate system faults.
Conduct detailed site surveys prior to installation to assess requirements and ensure proper system design.
Read, interpret, and apply technical specifications, programming guides, schematics, installation manuals, and service documentation.
Respond promptly to service calls and provide effective technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
Complete inspection, testing, and service reports accurately and return them within required timelines.
Provide operational training and guidance to end-users to ensure proper and safe system usage.
Communicate and coordinate with team members and other trades to ensure efficient preparation and timely completion of work assignments.
