Overview
This role supports high-visibility telecom and network analytics initiatives for a major enterprise client. The position requires deep expertise in telecom technologies (4G/5G and Wi-Fi), data engineering, ETL pipelines, and geospatial analytics. The selected candidate will contribute to performance engineering, large-scale data modeling, and advanced analytics used to optimize wireless networks and support strategic decision-making.
The environment is highly technical, fast-paced, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on problem solving, data quality, and delivering senior-level analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom & Network Analytics
• Apply 4G/5G and Wi-Fi fundamentals to evaluate network performance, identify issues, and support optimization strategies.
• Work with large datasets to develop telecom metrics, geospatial coverage models, and predictive analytics outputs.
Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering tools.
• Develop automated data workflows to support ongoing analytics, reporting, and performance dashboards.
Geospatial Analysis
• Work extensively with geospatial datasets, including RF propagation layers, coverage maps, and GIS-based analytical models.
• Integrate spatial datasets into larger analytics frameworks and visualization tools.
Big Data Environments
• Utilize large-scale data systems such as Postgres and AWS-based platforms.
• Support high-volume data ingestion, transformation, indexing, and long-term storage architecture.
Alteryx Development
• Lead high-complexity Alteryx workflows for data blending, analytics modeling, and process automation.
• Serve as the primary expert for Alteryx best practices, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior engineers, project leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Work independently while coordinating closely with engineering, analytics, and leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
• Telecom experience, including strong knowledge of 4G/5G and Wi-Fi technologies
• Data engineering and/or data science experience
• Alteryx development experience (Advanced or Expert-level skills)
• Strong experience with geospatial datasets and GIS workflows
• Strong Big Data experience (Postgres, AWS, and related platforms)
• Proven ETL pipeline expertise using Python and SQL
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Local to the Denver metro area and able to work onsite/hybrid
• Availability to start January 2026
