Our experienced technicians install, configure, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electronic and telecommunications equipment. Our services include IP-based video systems, network-connected equipment, communication systems, access control equipment, intrusion detection systems, structured cabling, and related electronic equipment.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Technician - Telecommunications Equipment to join our team.
Job duties:
- Install, set up, test, maintain, and repair telecommunications and electronic equipment.
- Install and set up IP cameras, video equipment, alarm systems, access control systems, and other network equipment.
- Install, route, connect, and test network and low-voltage cables.
- Set up IP addresses, network settings, and related software.
- Test equipment and systems using testing and diagnostic tools.
- Find and fix equipment, wiring, network, and communication problems.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment, cables, connectors, and other components.
- Read and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Perform service calls and maintenance at customer locations.
- Complete work orders and service reports.
- Explain the basic operation of installed equipment to customers.
- Follow company safety rules and equipment instructions.
Requirements:
- High school completion
- College or technical training in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in the field.
- Ability to maneuver and climb a 28-foot 751b extension ladder.
- Experience with electronic equipment, IP systems, network equipment, and cabling.
- A valid Ontario driver's license is an asset
Compensation & Work Schedule:
- $37 per hour (58,000 annually)
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- Additional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required when necessary to respond to emergency service calls, equipment failures, or urgent customer requests.
- Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
- All travel expenses will be covered by the company.
