Job Title: Technician, Security Alarms
Term of Employment: Permanent/Full Time/ 30-40 hours per week
Compensation: $34.07 per hour. Overtime after 44 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, On call and holiday work.
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduate certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work setting: On-site customer service, Various locations
Benefits: Group insurance benefits
Responsibilities: Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies, Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults, Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies, Read blueprints and drawings, Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
Experience and specialization: Alarm/security system, Video cameras and projectors
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Word, MS Outlook, Networks, Wireless networks, Wireless router
Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver's licence
