NOC: 21222 (Technical Support Engineer)
Languages- English
Education- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience- 4+ years of experience in testing across various testing types (functional, non-functional, UAT)
Wage: 58.00 to 68.00 hourly(To be negotiated)/ 40 hrs per week

Hybrid- Work must be completed both in person and remotely.

Location- 4300 North Fraser Way suite 195, Burnaby, British Columbia V5J 0B3

Responsibilities

Tasks
a) Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
b) Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems
c) Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
d) Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
e) Perform preventive maintenance
f) Develop and implement quality control programs
g) Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization’s IT infrastructure

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge
- SQL
- Python
- MS SQL Server

Certification (preferred)
- ITIL v3 Foundation Level
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

- Experience using tools like Jira to track and manage defects.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS.
