Technical Support Director – Furniture Manufacturing Job

We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Director with in-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing equipment, painting systems, and radio electronics and electrical engineering. The ideal candidate should also hold a degree in radio electronics and electrical engineering, be familiar with fire safety requirements, and be able to organize maintenance in a high-production environment. Additionally, the candidate should have experience leading technical teams and be fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, with English proficiency at a B2 level.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the technical service team in daily operations.

Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of woodworking machinery, painting equipment, compressors, spray booths, and spray guns.

Organize painting processes—both machine-based and manual, using compressors and sprayers.

Diagnose and repair woodworking equipment, electrical systems, and electronic control units.

Plan and execute preventive maintenance of all technical equipment.

Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and conduct regular checks.

Train staff on safe equipment operation, electrical safety, and fire prevention measures.

Prepare reports on technical issues, repairs, and safety inspections.

Coordinate with production and quality control departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

Experience as a Technical Supervisor in furniture manufacturing or a related industry. Knowledge of equipment, tools, materials, and components accounting procedures in furniture production.

In-depth knowledge of woodworking machinery, painting systems, radio electronics, electrical engineering, and the operation of loading/unloading equipment.

Knowledge of production, electrical, fire safety regulations, and standards.

Language proficiency: Russian and Ukrainian – native level, English – B2-C1, Spanish – B1.

Experience managing teams (up to 200 people), with the ability to train, lead, and motivate staff.

Understanding of OSHA safety standards (OSHA certification is a plus).

Excellent diagnostic and technical problem-solving skills.
