Technical Support Analyst 3 / IT Hardware Asset Analyst Job

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst 3 / IT Hardware Asset Analyst to manage IT hardware and software assets from acquisition through retirement. This onsite role covers inventory management, transfers, audits, ITSM ticketing, warranties, contracts, licenses, PC refreshes, and compliance reporting for the Technology Services department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate transfer of IT assets between business units within 5–7 business days
• Generate, distribute, and review weekly IT asset management reports
• Complete ITSM tickets within 7–10 business days
• Monitor the ITSM IT Asset Management queue daily and manage it accurately
• Update ticket notes with clear, accurate information to properly capture ticket lifecycle
• Assist with Asset IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) and PC Refresh processes
• Perform periodic inventories and usage monitoring of IT assets, recording findings, changes, physical location, and support incidents
• Track and maintain hardware warranties, maintenance agreements, lease/vendor contracts, and contract expirations
• Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses; perform periodic software audits on desktops, servers, and network equipment
• Assist in reconciling the software repository against the ISO Approval list semiannually
Required Skills & Certifications:
• 2+ years IT Asset Management experience
• 2+ years’ Hardware Inventory Management experience
• 2+ years of ITSM/Ticketing System experience
• 2+ years proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 2+ years of Asset Lifecycle Management experience
• 1+ year Software License Management experience
• 1+ year Inventory Auditing experience
• Must be able to lift, pull, or push 50 lbs as a regular part of job duties
• Must physically reside in the US for the duration of the assignment (offshore contractors prohibited)
• Must be willing to interview and work onsite in person
