Tasks
Estimate costs of installing equipment
Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
Promote sales to existing clients
Identify and solicit potential clients
Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services.
Conduct sales transactions
Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs.
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services.
Resolve product and service related problems
Troubleshoot problems related to printers, including software and hardware issues.
Advertise and/or promote products printers, related products, and service packages.
Provide customer service support via phone, email, or in person to address technical and service inquiries.
Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
Perform printer diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, including replacement of ink, toner, drums, fusers, and other components.
Assist with inventory management of printers, spare parts, and consumables.
Set up, configure, and connect printers with internet and intranet networks.
Ensure compliance with warranty conditions, service agreements, and company policies when delivering products and services
Stay updated with the latest printer technologies, industry trends, and product innovations
