Technical Sales Representative Job

Technical Sales Representative in this company sell advanced survival communication equipment with GPS to government agencies, emergency services, and commercial clients. They will perform duties such as building relationships with buyers and demonstrate product reliability through field trials and exhibitions. Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing government, emergency service, and commercial clients
• Identify and solicit potential clients through procurement platforms, trade shows, and industry networks
• Assess client needs, recommend suitable survival communication equipment with GPS, and negotiate pricing or contract terms
• Provide input into product features to ensure equipment meets specific emergencies and field requirements
• Develop tailored sales presentations, proposals, and demo sessions highlighting product reliability and benefits
• Prepare and manage sales contracts while maintaining detailed client and procurement records
• Follow up with clients after sales to resolve issues, ensure satisfaction, and provide continuous technical support
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of survival communication devices to effectively explain features and compliance certifications
• Implement and monitor sales strategies to meet company revenue and market share goals
• Record and process customer invoices, payments, and receipts accurately.
• Maintain sales-related financial records, ensuring all transactions are correctly coded for accounting purposes

A university degree or college diploma in a program related to the product or service and some financial knowledge is required.
Experience in sales or in a technical occupation related to the product or service may be required.
Fluency/ Proficiency in the English language will be required to speak with English clients
