A leading enterprise crypto trading platform in New York City is seeking a Technical Lead to shape the engineering behind its next phase of development.

Responsibilities:

- Set technical direction for core platform services and capabilities.
- Remain hands-on across system design, implementation and code review.
- Build scalable, resilient systems supporting enterprise trading workflows.
- Improve performance, observability and operational reliability.
- Guide engineers and strengthen engineering standards.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical plans.
- Manage architectural trade-offs, dependencies and technical debt.
- Embed security and disciplined incident management into delivery.

Required Experience:

You bring substantial software engineering experience and a record of leading complex systems into production.
- Your background may include electronic trading, financial infrastructure, digital assets or another environment where systems operate under demanding performance and reliability requirements.
- Technical leadership alongside continued hands-on engineering.
- Strong distributed systems and API design experience.
- Ownership of high-throughput or latency-sensitive services.
- Sound judgement across scalability, resilience and security.
- Effective collaboration with product and commercial stakeholders.
- The ability to develop engineers and maintain high delivery standards.
- Experience with trading connectivity, market data, order management or exchange integrations would be particularly relevant. Digital asset market knowledge would also be welcomed.
