Responsibilities

Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of formative and summative methods
Differentiate instruction to support students at varying skill levels and learning styles
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance instructional practices
Integrate technology and instructional resources to support learning
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
Support school policies, procedures, and a positive school culture
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)
Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification
Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
Commitment to student achievement and continuous professional growth
Preferred Skills
Experience with curriculum planning and standards-based instruction
Familiarity with student data tracking and assessment tools
Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction
Bilingual abilities are a plus
