Role Details:

Reports To: Managing Partner
Location: Utah County
Position Type: Full-Time/Salary
Compensation: $50,000-$100,000 salary plus profit sharing.

Paid Time Off: 3 weeks annually to recharge and relax, plus additional flexibility during the off season
Paid Holidays: Closed for all banking Holiday’s.
Medical Reimbursement: Ability to choose your own plan and receive a monthly reimbursement.
Training & Development:

We’re committed to training the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
On-the-job training provided by CPA's.
Long term growth will be to transition into a strategic, tax advisor role

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in Preparing Individual and Business Tax Returns
Review client financials, organize supporting documentation, and assist with accurate return preparation under supervision
Conduct intake interviews or review questionnaires to collect relevant financial and personal data.
Accurately enter information into tax software for both individual and entity returns.
Assist in identifying eligible deductions, credits, and business expenses in accordance with current tax laws
Work closely with experienced staff to prepare and finalize returns.
Protect sensitive personal and financial information in compliance with firm policies and IRS regulations

Skill Requirements:

1-3 years prior exposure to individual and business tax preparation (Form 1040, 1065, 1120S, etc.)
Customer service or client-facing experience
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
Comfortable with numbers, data entry, and performing calculations
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software

Other Requirements:

In-Office Presence: This role requires 100% on-site work
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Paid Holidays: Closed for all banking Holiday’s.

Education:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
Current students or recent graduates in accounting or tax-related programs are encouraged to apply
