Hourly rate: $24.00 to $37.00 / hour (wage determined based on experience and qualifications; higher wage levels apply for candidates with more extensive experience)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 to 44 hours / week)
Start date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: Tattoo studio
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of work experience as a tattoo artist

Job Duties
• Use a tattoo machine to permanently pigment the client’s skin with chemical dyes.
• Consult with and advise clients with respect to size, color, design and placement of
body art
• Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment and work areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Perform tattoo repairs, cover-ups, and touch-ups
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmation
• May apply temporary designs to client’s skin
• Build and maintain own clientele
