DBA Save on Dry Cleaning is currently looking for an educated, Professional and one well-organized, candidate to handle the position of Laundry and Dry-Cleaning General Manager (NOC: 0015) for their business. The potential candidate must handle and coordinate the overall operations of the business.
Job type: Full-Time, Permanent, Overtime, Morning, Day, Shift, Flexible hours
Salary: $21.00 to$23.00/ hour for 30-40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Shorten or lengthen hems of trousers, skirts, and dresses.
• Fix rips, tears, or holes in clothing using sewing machines or hand stitching.
• Alter buttons, zippers, and fastenings as needed
• Provide recommendations for necessary alterations to achieve a better fit.
• Press and steam garments after alterations to remove wrinkles
• Keep track of sewing supplies, such as threads, needles, and fabrics.
• Maintain an organized work area with all necessary tools readily available.
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school may be required.
• 1 year of experience in sewing or styling may be required.
• Education: No degree or diploma
• Language: English

Position is entitled to benefits as per BC Employment standards act, 4% Vacation pay of gross salary will be paid, or the option to choose 10 days of paid vacation annually with no vacation pay on each pay period.
