Tailor Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fashion and a commitment to delivering high-quality alterations and custom garments. As a Tailor, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, ensuring that each piece is tailored to perfection. This role requires strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.

Duties:
•? ?Consult with clients to determine their tailoring needs and preferences.
•? ?Make made-to-measure garments, such as suits and coats according to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit.
•? ?Design, select and/or modify commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications.
•? ?Fit, alter and repair garments according to customers' requests by hand or using sewing machines.
•? ?Create custom garments based on client specifications.
•? ?Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to complete alterations and repairs.
•? ?Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
•? ?Ability to train tailoring apprentices.
•? ?Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
•? ?Keep accurate records of alterations and custom orders.

Requirements:
•? ?Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role is preferred.
•? ?Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
•? ?Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
•? ?Proficiency in using sewing machines, tools, and equipment.
•? ?Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
•? ?Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•? ?A passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends is a plus.
•? ?An understanding of various African and Asian dresses is needed(Highly required).***
