East Vancouver Taekwondo in Vancouver, BC is currently seeking experienced Taekwondo Coach.
East Vancouver Taekwondo
Working (Business) Location: 1831 Renfrew St Vancouver, BC V5M 3J1
Position: Taekwondo Coach
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 hours per week)
Wage: $39 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, execute the highest level of Taekwondo training and practice the highest level of Taekwondo components, such as basic movement, poomsae, sparring, self-defense, breaking techniques;
- Create workable strategies for success to prepare each athlete for the next level, during regular practices as well as competitions;
- Motivate and mentor athletes or teams for the highest level of competition,
- Analyze and evaluate athletes’ or team’s performance
- Observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performance
- Establish and outline realistic goals and objectives for athletes/students;
- Carry out athletes/students’ performance analysis, Taekwondo program management and competition support and planning
Requirement:
- Bachelor or diploma education in Taekwondo or physical education or related
- Experience and technical knowledge of Taekwondo is required
- Able to communicate in English
