Job Overview
ANET Fiber Tech Inc. is seeking two full-time Systems Testers to join its team in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidates will support software, hardware, information system, and telecommunication system testing activities in an office-based, on-site work environment.
Main Duties
The Systems Tester will perform the following duties:
Develop and document software testing plans.
Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing.
Execute and document the results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures.
Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.
Requirements
Language: English
Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and Safety: Criminal record check required
Transportation: Valid driver’s licence required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The role may involve repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, attention to detail, the ability to distinguish between colours, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
