Systems Engineer Job

Systems Engineer is needed to perform the following duties :

• Participate in all aspects of full SDLC (i.e., Software Development Life Cycle) for various applications like enterprise web applications and windows applications from conception to deployment.
• Responsible for the definition, design and interpretation of technical architecture artefacts taken from user requirement specifications or in direct discussions with the business, to create a solutions architecture to meet business requirements.
• Act as design authority and provide an assurance role, ensuring that all architecture activities and deliverables (in-house and external outsourced) are produced to a high quality and are consistent with existing standards, policies and strategies.
• Define the target architectures, and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services across the Secretariat whilst delivering the required business outcomes.
• Create and provide high level solution architecture and review of detailed technical design documents comfortable with project planning and estimation.
• Provides input and co-ordinates with DBA in creating new and modifying existing database structures using different types of databases and recommending appropriate DB based on required functionality across multiple systems.
• Create and improve software using the design patterns, refactoring and development best practices and coding standards.
• Experience using UML modeling and diagramming tools like Enterprise Architect, MS Visio.
• Designing and building high-performance, scalable applications.
• Optimizing existing codebases for performance and maintainability.
• Maintain existing application code, as well as write code to support new project features, enhancements, and fixes.
• Worked as part of a team, collaborate with others, and communicate effectively.
• Research best practices, emerging technologies, new programming languages, and industry developments, and incorporate them into existing software.
• Implement Software development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Communicate with stakeholders to enhance and improve solutions by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to build a strong relationship among the IT Organization and business users across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Computer Information Systems.
