Job Summary:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst/QA Manager for the HR1 Medicaid project to lead all Quality Assurance activities, ensuring deliverables meet state Medicaid requirements. This role manages the full testing lifecycle — strategy, planning, execution, reporting, test data preparation, and End-to-End (E2E) testing — while coordinating closely with multiple state agencies, business teams, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and E2E Testing for MMIS and MES modules, including configured COTS applications and data conversion/integration
• Coordinate testing efforts with business teams to gather user scenarios and test cases; organize meetings and support UAT
• Ensure proper test coverage and traceability; perform test readiness reviews
• Maintain defect management processes and manage defect triage calls with multiple vendors, tracking defects to closure
• Validate data integrity across systems and ensure consistent QA documentation/standards
• Conduct post-test assessments to confirm issue resolution
• Identify risks early and partner with the PMO office for project oversight
• Develop test cases, test data, and verify software changes; problem-solve escalated issues as liaison between developers and business users
• Communicate and report to stakeholders on UAT results, progress, test summaries, and execution metrics
• Track and maintain historical UAT testing information
Required Skills & Certifications:
• 15+ years’ experience with large-scale Medicaid Member Eligibility Processing Software
• 10+ years’ experience coordinating SIT, UAT, and E2E testing on large-scale projects
• 10+ years’ experience with test scenario development, test case creation, test data prep, execution, defect tracking, and metrics reporting
• 15+ years excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• 10+ years executive/management reporting and presentations experience
• 10+ years’ experience with Mainframes
• 10+ years’ experience in data analysis
• 10+ years of meeting facilitation experience
• 10+ years of knowledge of programming logic
• 10+ years’ experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
• 1+ year experience with Teradata queries
Scheduling:
