Sushiwood is seeking a F/T Food Service Supervisor. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.00-$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Job Duties:
• Direct staff workflows to ensure consistent food preparation and service
• Order inventory and kitchen supplies to maintain necessary stock levels
• Train employees on technical duties, safety, and sanitation standards
• Estimate ingredient needs to align orders with daily demand
• Recruit team members to maintain full staffing and operational flow
• Uphold quality standards for food presentation and service consistency
• Track financial records including sales, budgets, and inventory waste
• Resolve guest complaints to maintain service reputation and satisfaction

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
