• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.50-$21.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Benefits:

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including sushi and other Japanese dishes, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Measure and portion ingredients appropriately to ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and cost control
• Monitor and request food and kitchen supplies as needed to support daily operations
• Check kitchen and food preparation areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including food items, supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Prepare meals that accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions, ensuring safe handling procedures
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
