Business and Work Location: 2082 Comox Avenue, Comox, BC V9M 1P8
Terms of Employment: Permanent Position / Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)/ Shift
Vacancy: 1
Wage: $27.00 - $38.00 (To be Negotiated)
Benefit: 4% vacation Pay
Start date: As soon as possible
Job duties:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules
Job Requirement
• Language of work: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent of experience
• Experience as an asset
