Looking for 2 Sushi Chef (full-time) for Squamish Samurai Sushi!
Employer: Squamish Samurai Sushi (operated by Squamish Sushi Inc.)
Position: Sushi Chef
Position Available: 2
Working Conditions:
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Wage: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Working hours: 35-40 hours per week
• Working location: #120-1200 Hunter Place, Squamish, BC V8B 0G8
Benefits:
• Extend medical and dental after 3 months (full-time worker)
• Free staff meal when on duty
• Vacation and Sick days will be given based on BC Employment Standards
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook and create the menus.
• Prepare sushi rice, chopping, slicing, trimming and filleting various kinds of fish as well as any related ingredients/garnishes.
• Complete and make sushi, sashimi, and roll sushi.
• Maintain and report inventory for the related ingredients and tools in the kitchen.
• Train cooks and kitchen helpers with advanced cooking skills.

• Experience:
o Minimum 3 years of cooking experience
o Sushi/Sashimi preparation techniques are required.
• Completion of culinary courses/programs is an asset.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
